
I just finished reading D.V., an autobiography of Diana Vreeland, famed fashion editor of Harper’s Bazaar, former editor-in-chief of Vogue, and special consultant to the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute.
What a character. So full of life.
Written as if she is sitting next to you at a dinner party, the book tells fantastical stories. Ms. Vreeland’s point of view of life was wide-eyed, stylish, beautiful and always cheerful.
