Have you ever written a theatre review? Would you like to?
Check out Margaret Fleming by James A. Herne at the Metropolitan Playhouse in New York City and write a review for Grace Magazine.
Hailed as America’s first “modern” drama, Margaret Fleming presents an American heroine with a dilemma worthy of Ibsen. To the devoted and comme il faut wife of a small city mill owner, the living proof of her husband’s infidelity is a shock that she may not overcome. Her response was scandalous to an 1890 audience, and a bold declaration of independence that is electrifying today.
Show dates are September 21 - October 21.
The Metropolitan Playhouse focuses on American Heritage plays written before the Civil War. I used to work there a few years back as an actress and sometimes stage manager. They do great work. Check them out.
