If you need some help getting into the Christmas spirit, try some of these holiday classics.

It’s a Wonderful Life
How can you not love a movie about an angel who hasn’t yet earned his wings. (Perhaps it was all that flaming rum punch). Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed are sensational in this perennial Christmas classic.

A Christmas Story
A little boy’s adventures in trying to convince his parents of the perfect Christmas gift. Ralphie’s face is amazingly angelic and Darren McGavin and Melinda Dillon are perfect as the parents. Based on Jean Shepherd’s short story.

Meet Me In St. Louis
Who can forget Judy Garland singing Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas to Margaret O’Brien? Old-time family values that span several holidays but leave a lasting Christmas feeling.

Bad Santa
Or more specifically Badder Santa. Definitely NOT for kids. A washed out drunken thief played to perfection by Billy Bob Thornton finds the true meaning of Christmas after much ado and several thousand curse words. You might have to go to confession after this one.
What are your favorite holiday movies?
