It’s been a long week.

It’s been a long week.

On Monday, the credit card reform act takes effect. It’s called the Credit Card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure Act of 2009 also referred to as the Credit CARD Act of 2009. While it prevents some of the evil practices by these companies, it still leaves loopholes you should be aware of.
Make sure you read the fine print on your credit card statements and any mailings you received from the companies. They will try to find any way to nickel and dime you, so empower yourself with knowledge.
I know I’ve been posting a lot of videos lately, but I had to post this performance by Pink at this year’s Grammy Awards. I think this is beautiful.
Watch it full screen.

It’s World Nutella Day. Yay!
Thanks to Michelle at bleeding espresso along with Ms. Adventures in Italy and At Home in Rome, we have World Nutella Day.
I’m celebrating by spreading Nutella between two Nilla Wafers. Yum!
Hmm, maybe I’ll buy a package of Oreos and replace all the cream with Nutella. Or maybe I’ll just eat it with a spoon. I wonder if I could stir it into coffee? Perhaps I should just stick to the Nilla Wafers.
What is your favorite way to enjoy Nutella?

Once in a while I get the urge to crochet.
I know a lot of the basic crochet stitches but I’m really bad at following patterns. Here is an adorable crochet hat pattern that is so easy, even I could follow it. I found the pattern on ravelry.com. You have to be a member to search for patterns, but this one also provided a link to the instructions on a blog.
If you like to crochet or knit, membership at ravelry is free. It’s a great way to find and share ideas and patterns.
I made this hat in white. (The photo is not mine, it’s from ravelry.) It was so easy, I’m making another in blue and gray. Give it a try.
