Sean Bean: Most Attractive Man

January 20, 2008 · 4 Comments

Sean Bean as Boromir

My favorite actor, Sean Bean, has won Hello! Magazine’s Most Attractive Man poll for the second straight year.

Isn’t he gorgeous? Well, maybe he’s a little scrufty as Boromir in The Lord of The Rings, pictured above.

But I’ve had a crush on Sean Bean since I saw him as Robert Lovelace in Clarissa. He is probably best known in recent years for his many turns as Lt. Richard Sharpe in Sharpes Rifles and the rest of the Sharpe series.

Other notable roles include Alec Trevelyan/006 in Goldeneye, Sean Miller in Patriot Games, Spence in Ronin, Ian Howe in National Treasure, John Ryder in The Hitcher, and many, many more.

Here are some pictures of Sean Bean:

Any New York Theatre Lovers Out There?

September 20, 2007 · No Comments

Metropolitan PlayhouseHave you ever written a theatre review? Would you like to?

Check out Margaret Fleming by James A. Herne at the Metropolitan Playhouse in New York City and write a review for Grace Magazine.

Hailed as America’s first “modern” drama, Margaret Fleming presents an American heroine with a dilemma worthy of Ibsen. To the devoted and comme il faut wife of a small city mill owner, the living proof of her husband’s infidelity is a shock that she may not overcome. Her response was scandalous to an 1890 audience, and a bold declaration of independence that is electrifying today.

Show dates are September 21 - October 21.

The Metropolitan Playhouse focuses on American Heritage plays written before the Civil War. I used to work there a few years back as an actress and sometimes stage manager. They do great work. Check them out.
