I’m getting ready to finalize my list of shampoos. This is what I have so far:

-Samy
-Aussie
-Infusium 23
-Kiehl’s
-Paul Mitchell
-Nexxus

So if you have any you’d like to add to this list, please write them in the comments section within the next few days.

Thank you,
Grace

What Shampoo Do You Use?

Shampoo Scene From Out of Africa

I’ve been searching for a new shampoo and I can’t find one that I really love.

I don’t want anything too expensive because I have a lot of hair and it takes a lot of shampoo to clean my head. I also have color-treated hair so I need something gentle and color friendly.

I was using Samy for a while. It worked well but I got tired of the gel-like texture. Then I tried Aussie. I was a big fan of Aussie when I was a teenager. But I’ve outgrown the scent. It’s very fruity, almost like candy.

Now, I’m using Infusium 23 Moisturologie. I like the scent. It smells like shampoo. Clean and light.

But I like to switch up my shampoos and conditioners. So I need some backups.

I’m planning to do a shampoo comparison test. So if there are any shampoos you’d like me to try, let me know. I’ll make a list and test them against each other. Just post your suggestions in the comments section.

Thanks,
Grace

Mall Shopping vs. Online Shopping

Shopping Mall
Feeling the urge to shop, I took a trip to the mall today. I didn’t need anything, wasn’t looking for anything in particular. I just wanted to window shop, and perhaps buy something if I saw something great. Oftentimes when you are not looking, you find something fantastic.

But I had a hard time parking and once inside, the mall was crowded and loud. Too many people, too much quality time with the hoi polloi.

Selection in the shops was limited, the clothes had all been picked over and handled. The stores were playing loud music, kids were running around.

Overall, it was not a satisfying experience.

I ended up driving home disappointed. I went online and shopped the entire world instead. The only drawbacks to online shopping are that you can’t try on the clothes and sample the products, and you have to wait for them to be shipped. But the selection is fantastic.

Here are my purchases from gloss.com:
