“The CHANEL Smoky Eye — the season’s eye-mut-have — effortlessly goes low-intensity for day or all-out glamorous for night.”
Here are three ways to smolder by Chanel.
Les 4 Ombres Quadra Eye Shadow in Smoky Eyes
Four powder shadows to play with. Go subtle for daytime and play up the drama for night.

Two powder-based liners can be used wet or dry.

The finishing touch, choose from four smoky shades to lengthen and curl your lashes. Smoky Noir, Smoky Brun, Smoky Marine, Smoky Violine.
Summer is coming fast and furious. Time to get the tootsies ready and plump up those lips.
Here are the latest nail and lip colors from Chanel in sun-kissed oranges.
Orange Fizz nail color
Tangerine Dream lip gloss
And don’t miss the Grace Magazine 4-step foot care routine.
Lips and nails make a seductive statement with a collection of trend-defining shades inspired by Mademoiselle Chanel’s love of the colour black.
Rouge Allure in Maniac, Hysteria, and Obscure
Le Vernis in Rouge Noir, Vendetta, and Madness
Dark and mysterious, dare you wear such brooding colors? Nails are one thing, but dark, dark lips? I can’t wait to try them to see if they are sheer or creamy. There is not much information on the Chanel Web site. Guess we’ll have to wait and see.
The long awaited Chanel N°5 EAU PREMIÈRE has finally arrived.
Younger and softer, N°5 EAU PREMIÈRE is a new interpretation of the classic Chanel N°5 fragrance.
The First Notes of N°5 EAU PREMIÈRE give a touch of freshness to this indefinable bouquet, which seems to open up gradually, as if revived by the morning dew.
At the heart of the fragrance, the flowers in this abstract bouquet open up completely. In N°5 EAU PREMIÈRE, the notes of Rose and Jasmine seem purer, with a delicate transparency.
Finally, N°5 EAU PREMIÈRE delightfully reveals the lingering trail that gives N°5 all its personality. Distinctive and absolutely unique, it brings new and softer tones to this interpretation.
There is a lovely little graphical presentation at this link complete with impressionistic music by Debussy.
I’m wearing it right now. Mmm, I wish I could let you smell it through this blog.
Emma Watson in Italian Vogue
Emma Watson proves she photographs really well. Here are images from her Italian Vogue photo shoot.
I can’t wait to see her Coco Mademoiselle campaigns.
I found that I had a smile on my face the entire time I was watching this movie.
Although it wasn’t the best piece of cinema, it was engaging and clear. Most of the story was about the young Coco played by Barbora Bobulova. She got me involved right away and I identified with her and cheered her on. She looked very well in the period clothes.
Shirley MacLaine is always a joy to watch. She brings a certain spunk to all of her roles. Even though I suspect the real Coco Chanel was hell on wheels, MacLaine made us see the sypathetic side of the woman. We understood her determination. I could have watched her all night. I wish there was more of her in the film.
I appreciate that the filmmaker showed Chanel working hard and took the time at the end of the film to show the clothes. We were treated to the fashion show that brought Chanel back into the world after the war.
If you didn’t get to see the movie, look for it in your local listings. I’m sure Lifetime will be rerunning it often.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to go put on some Chanel No. 5.
Coco Chanel starring Shirley MacLaine premieres Saturday, September 14 at 8:00 PM ET/PT on Lifetime.

Cast includes Shirley MacLaine as Coco Chanel with Barbora Bobulova as Chanel in her younger years.
